After showing commitment and helping the team to the season’s opening MTN 8 trophy, SuperSport United have awarded their experienced left back Onismor Bhasera with a one-year extension to his current contract.
Bhasera joined United from Bidvest Wits four seasons ago and his current contract was due to expire in June 2020.
But the technical team and management felt he deserves another year until June 2021 with an option of another year after that which could see the former Kaizer Chiefs defender stay at the Pretoria side until June 2022.
Contacted for comment United’s media officer Brian Moshoeshoe confirmed to FARPost that the former Tembisa Classic FC player is staying at the club for another year.
“Yes I can confirm that he had signed a new one year contract. There could be an option but for now what I can 100% tell you is that nje he has signed a new one year contract with the team,” Moshoeshoe concluded.
