Mulenga joins Chippa, Ndlovu completes permanent move to SuperSport  

Chippa United has completed the signing of ex-Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu forward Augustine Mulenga. 

The Zambian goalscorer joins the Gqeberha side on a two-year deal ahead of the 2023/24 season. 

Mulenga spent the last campaign on his home soil, playing for NAPSA after his departure from Usuthu. 

The talented striker becomes the second signing for the Chilli Boys after the acquisition of winger Craig Martin from the Buccaneers.

“Chippa United Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Zambian striker Augustine Mulenga on a 2-year contract,” read the club’s press release. 

“With former stints at Orlando Pirates and Amazulu FC, along with significant contributions to the Zambian national team.”

Meanwhile, the club’s chairman Siviwe Mpengesi added that Mulenga’s extensive experience of the beautiful game will come in handy for the Chilli Boys as the new campaign looms large. 

“Mulenga’s rich experience aligns perfectly with our aspirations for the forthcoming season.

“As he steps into this new journey with us, we extend our warmest wishes to Mulenga for his tenure at the club,” said the chairman.

SIPHESIHLE NDLOVU SECURES SUPERSPORT UNITED PERMANENT MOVE

As reported by FARPost earlier today, Siphesihle Ndlovu has completed a permanent move to Supersport United on a two-year deal. 

Ndlovu had joined Matsatsantsa on a loan move from the Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates, in January this year. 

Given his stellar performances at the Tshwane club, the club decided to keep Ndlovu permanently. Ndlovu helped them finish third in the DStv Premiership and qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup. 

On Wednesday, 28 June, Gavin Hunt’s side confirmed the signing of midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange on a two-year contract.

Nange joined SuperSport as a free agent after his contract with Kaizer Chiefs came to an end.
