3 Downs players to watch against SuperSport

Mamelodi Sundowns would be hoping to continue their dominance over SuperSport United in League outings.

… and on their side, the Brazilians have the quality at their disposal to do it yet again.

FARPost picks three Downs players capable of shining in the Tshwane Derby.

Sibusiso Vilakazi

Affectionately known as ‘Vila’, Vilakazi might not be the quickest of players but he is smart and can protect the ball. He is one of Mosimane’s go to man when he needs a goal.

With  7 goals and  8 assists in 24 games in all competition. He has proven to be a reliable man for Sundowns.

Thapelo Morena

His overlapping runs on the right hand side are a threat along with his quality crosses into the box.  The right-back player reads the game well and has the ability to stop dangerous balls coming in from the right hand side of the Downs defence.

In Morena you have a two-in-one player, useful in attack and in defence. He has 7 assists and 3 goals in 25 games in all competition for Sundowns.

Gastón Sirino

The diminutive Sirino is Ill-disciplined and gets frustrated easily especially when things are not going his way. However he can strike fast like lightning out of nowhere. His quickness and skill on the ball has been a problem so far for defenders in the league. His 9 goals and 5 assists in all competition this season should tell you that he is an impact right-wing player.
