Former Bidvest Wits defender Lorenzo Gordinho has joined Danish 1st Division side Viborg.
Gordinho featured for Wits in the past season, following his move from Kaizer Chiefs.
Ex Chiefs striker Matthew Rusike claims that he was involved in helping Gordinho make the move a reality.
Rusike currently plays for Norwegian side, Stabaek.

Gordinho joins Viborg on a two-year-deal after leaving Wits at the end of the 2019-20 season.
Gordihno played a total of 14 games for the ‘Clever Boys’ and the defender previously played for Bloemfontein Celtics where he was on loan from Kaizer Chiefs making 27 appearances with the Free State based side, while he made 58 appearances for Chiefs before his permanent switch to Bidvest Wits.
Viborg FF is based in Viborg and play their home games at 9,566 capacity seater Viborg Stadion. The club was founded in 1896, but in their 124 years of existence have only won two trophies namely the Danish Cup and Danish Super Cup in the 1999-2000 season.
Gordinho will be managed by Danish coach Jacob Neestrup Hansen a former footballer who turned out for clubs like FC Copenhagen, Stavanger IF, FH Hafnarfjorour, Fremad and also represented Denmark at youth level.
The 26-year-old joins a list of South African players who are plying their trade in Denmark with U-23 striker Liam Jordan in his third season with HB Koge who also play in the same division and former Cape Town City winger Gift Links playing in the Suparliga which is a level above the 1st division.
