A highly charged Zambian Under-20 team brushed aside hapless Comoros Under-20, (2-0) in a Group B match of the 2020 COSAFA Under 20 Tournament.

The Young Chipolopolo made 3 major changes to their starting eleven, with captain Prince Mumba, Derrick Bulaya and Peter Banda all given the start by Coach Perry Mutapa.

A neatly worked short corner, resulted in John Chishimba opening the score with a scorcher that kissed the net. Bulaya then added a second with a nifty touch to take Zambia 2-0 at halftime.

The second half began the same way as the Young Chipolopolo continued to dominate. An injury to Zambian striker, Ricky Banda saw the introduction of Elliot Kampukesa.

The match finished 2-0 in favour of the Young Chipolopolo who now moved to the top of the group with 6 points from 2 matches. Comoros are still pointless and already eliminated in the championship.

The diminutive Kabwe Warriors midfielder Mumba was voted Man of the Match.
