Larsen starts new job at Polokwane City

As revealed by #FARPost on Thursday, Clinton Larsen is the new coach of Polokwane City.

The 38-year-old took charge of his first training at Rise and Shine in Polokwane on Friday morning.

Although the club are yet to make a formal statement, Larsen is expected to be on the bench when they take on Maritzburg United on Sunday.

City recently parted ways with Serbian coach Zlatko Krmpotic following a string of poor results that included an MTN8 semi-final elimination.

Bernard Molekwa was tipped to take over until the end of the season but 3 defeats in 3 games did not help his course, leaving chairman Johnny Mogaladi opting for the former Manning Rangers player.

Larsen was fired at Chippa United after a 5-game winless streak at the beginning of the current season.
