FARPost Writer Amahle Siphungu picks the players who are likely to shine in the MTN8 final at Orlando Stadium tomorrow (18:00).
Peter Shalulile (Highlands Park)
The Namibian striker is undoubtedly one of the in-form players in the League at the moment with six goals from six starts in the Absa Premiership, which makes him the top scorer. He will be looking to trouble the Matsatsantsa defence to get his first goal in the MTN8 competition.
Bradley Grobler (SuperSport United)
The striker follows after Peter Shalulile on the top goal scorer table with an impressive five goals in six matches. The August Absa Premiership Player of the Month certainly knows how to find himself in the right positions in the final third and take a striking shot at goal.
Sipho Mbule (SuperSport United)
The way the midfielder plays gets the crowd going and certainly has an eye for a good pass and has the ability to find his way in the middle of the park. He currently has one goal and one assist in all competitions, but it’s his general play that has caught the eye.
Mokete Mogaila (Highlands Park)
The Limpopo-born player is one of the fastest players in the PSL and even though he has not been favoured to start most games, but it’s his pace, if given a chance in the final, that could prove vital for the Lions of the North.
Ronwen Williams(SuperSport United)
The Bafana Bafana shotstopper is definitely what you need in a cup final game, especially if it goes the distance and into a penalty shootout.
