Chippa United coach Norman Mapeza has confirmed that the club will look to use the January transfer window to add more fire power and beef up their striking department.
Chippa United announced the departure of Lerato Manzini and Rhulani Manzini last week after being deemed surplus to requirements under the leadership of Norman Mapeza.
Mapeza had previously bemoaned his side’s cutting edge in front of goal and has identified the January transfer window as a solution.
“Yeah we need to look for about 2 strikers you know, it doesn’t matter where they gonna come from but definitely not foreigners because our quota is already full,” declared Mapeza.
“So we will look around and maybe in the lower divisions if we can find someone who will give us what we are looking for then we will go for it,” concluded the former Zimbabwean international defender.
