SAB 2016 Championships Player of the Tournament, Frank Motebejane, has signed for GladAfrica Championship side, TS Sporting.
The 24-year-old will look to resurrect his career after some failed stints at a few clubs.
Since the U21 Championships in Polokwane, Limpopo, four years ago Motebejane has not lived up to expectations.
He was first signed by Orlando Pirates and played for their Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) side, before spending some time on loan at Tshakhuma.
Motebetjane was then signed by Golden Arrows, but failed to make an impact.
So why hasn’t he lived up to expectations until now? FARPost Editor Tiyani wa ka Mabasa explains: “I watched Frank play at the SAB Championships in 2016 and even spoke to him when clubs were chasing after his signature… a great left footed attacking midfielder, but there’s one thing that concerned me about his game. He can be deadly one minute and disappears from the game for longer spells. When he doesn’t get the ball, he loses focus on the match.
“Frank has to be consistent and be available every minute of the game. If he works on this, he will no doubt make it at TS Sporting,” said Mabasa.
