Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns both played their 750th league game over the weekend, becoming the first sides to play 750 league games in the PSL era.
Sundowns missed out on their 390th win, after drawing 1-1 away to Maritzburg. Their overall record reads: Played 750 Won 389 Lost 162 Drew 199 Goal for 1117 Goals against 633.
Pirates’ 750th game also ended in a draw, as the Buccaneers’ clash against Cape Town City ended 2-2.
