Head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the news.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of today’s clash against Liverpool (18:30), Solskjaer appeared delighted.

“He’s come in and everything about him tells me he is a leader, he is part of the group we’ve had that have been leading this young group.”
Maguire will take over the responsibility from Inter Milan bound Ashley Young.
The 34-year-old has already agreed to join the Serie A side in a £ 1,2 move.
