Mapeza appointed Zim interim head coach


The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) have appointed Norman Mapeza as the interim head coach of the national team.

The 49-year-old mentor takes over the coaching role at the Warriors from Zdravko Logarusic, who was sacked a few days ago following a string of poor results.

Mapeza is currently at the helm of FC Platinum, and will oversee Zimbabwe’s remaining World Cup qualifying campaign.

Zimbabwe’s new technical department:

Head Coach: Norman Mapeza

First Assistant: Taurai Mangwiro

Second Assistant: Mandla Mpofu

G/Keepers Coach: Energy Murambadoro

Team Manager: Calvin Chatira
