ABC Motsepe League midweek wrap

With just a few rounds of fixtures remaining, the South African football third-tier is getting more entertaining as teams are going all out to do whatever it takes to survive the chop, while other teams stand a chance to qualify for the national playoffs and see themselves in the GladAfrica Championship.

It was goals galore in the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League when Sinenkani FC humiliated Birmingham City 7-1 at home to close the gap at the top of the table.

Sinenkani FC currently lie second in the provincial Stream B log standings, just two points behind log leaders Buffalo City Municipal Stars.

In the North West province, the game between Tigane United and Young Zebras FC did not take place as 10 players of the Zebras tested positive for COVID-19.
