Not a lot has changed in different ABC Motsepe Leagues across the country with most provinces having played their round 4 matches.

Gauteng

Baberwa are still top of the log but dropped 2 points following the 1-1 draw against the Shakes Mashaba-coached Blue Lions at home. Orange Vaal Professionals remain second after a 2-1 win over M. Tigers. La Masia, Alexandra Black Aces, Pele Pele FC, Leruma United, Blue Lions and Tembisa Sports Centre are all tied on 7 points, 6 points behind leaders Baberwa.

Limpopo

Humphrey Mlwane’s presence at Ditlou seem to be making a difference at the Groblersdal-based side who are the current log leaders with 10 points from 4 games. The 3-2 win over second placed Giyani Happy Boys was the third of the second under the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder. Venda Football Academy are fourth with 8 points after a 0-0 draw against Mighty FC. Berachah Valley have jumped to fourth position following a 2-0 win over Polokwane Academy.

North West

Log Leaders Polokwane City Rovers were not in action this weekend. Orbit College jumped to second position following a 2-0 win over Master Peace, while Buya Msuthu dropped as they were also not in action. Young Zebras are third with 2 points behind City Rovers after a 3-0 win over the Glamour Boys.

Northern Cape

Kakamas Sundowns remain top of the log despite the 2-2 draw against Magareng Young Stars. Tornado remain second but also drew 2-2 against Olifantshoek Young Stars. Hungry Lions dropped to fourth place after playing to a 1-1 draw with Maruping United. N.C. Liverpool’s 3-2 win over United Rovers puts them in third position.

KwaZulu Natal

Mvoti United are still in first position after a 2-1 win over Durban FC, maintaining the 100% record start in four games. Dabeka Sporting have also maintained a 100% start following a 1-0 win against Rainham Sporting. Happy Wanderers and Natal Rich Boys are third and fourth respectively.

Free State

Super Eagles and Central University of FS are first and second respectively tied on 10 points after four matches. Mangaung Unite and BFN Young Tigers are third and fourth tied on nine points.

Eastern Cape

*There were no fixtures this past weekend in the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe league due to the Nelson Mandela Challenge match between South Africa and Mali at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday.

Mpumalanga

*There were no matches in the Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League.
