The Total Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) quarter-finals stage is set for Thursday and Friday following the completion of the last round of group matches on Monday evening.
The remaining eight teams are expected to produce top class entertainment in the field of play over the two days.
Cameroon will lock horns with Ghana in an encounter deemed to be the final before the final. Cameroon finished on the summit of Group A with nine points, while Ghana managed to secure a place in the last eight as one of the two best third-placed teams after suffering a defeat in the hands of Gambia on the last day of the group stage matches.
On the other hand, a mouth-watering North African derby showpiece awaits us, as Morocco and Tunisia go head-to-head in the quarter-finals of this prestigious tournament.
The Atlas Lions finished Group C with seven points after wins over Tanzania and Gambia as well as a draw with Ghana. Tunisia, who also qualified to the knockout stages as one of the two best third-placed teams after claiming third place in Group B with four points.
