Ghana national team coach Charles Akonnor has named his final squad for the upcoming qualifiers.
The coach has left out players who play in the English Premier League and the Championship after their clubs opted against releasing them for the March international break.
He, however, has included France-based duo Nicholas Opoku and Emmanuel Lomotey despite a recent announcement by French clubs saying they won’t be allowing players to honour call-ups from countries outside of the European Union.
Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori has also been included alongside Afcon U20 hero Abudul Fatawu Issahaku.
