The draw of the Total U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) slated for Morocco this year was conducted on Wednesday, 24 February 2021 February at the Hilton Hotel in Yaounde, Cameroon.
Caf director of competitions Samson Adamu was responsible for the draw proceedings, assisted by Mauritania’s legend Mustapha Fall.
The tournament will kick off on the 13th until the 31st of March 2021 with hosts Morocco going head-to-head with Uganda in the opening match.
Amajimbos were handed a tough group as they are drawn alongside Cameroon, Senegal and Mali.
Group A: Morocco, Uganda, Zambia, Cote d’Ivoire
Group B: Nigeria, Tanzania, Algeria, Congo
Group C: Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, South Africa
