Kaizer Chiefs have decided to sever ties with Philani Zulu.

As part of the club’s plans to reshuffle the squad following a poor 2020/21 domestic campaign, Zulu’s contract won’t be renewed.

FARPost has learnt that Zulu is no longer part of the club. Sibusiso Mabiliso from AmaZulu is set to replace him.

The versatile player, who can be played at left-back, left-wing, and in a central midfield role joined Chiefs in 2017 and has gone on to make 98 appearances, 10 in the Caf Champions League for the Soweto giants.

It has been reported that Zulu, who is now a free agent could make a return back to KwaZulu Natal to join AmaZulu.
