AmaZulu FC have joined the community in helping to clean and resuscitate the shopping centres in Durban, after the looting and destruction of property has come to an end in most parts of the province.
Usuthu will partner with the Phumlani Dube Foundation in cleaning townships in Durban.
It seems the damage and destruction of property that was coupled with unrest earlier this week has left some devastating impact on the economy.
Phumlani Dube revealed that his Foundation is expected to lead the initiative to give back to the community.
“The Phumlani Dube Foundation in partnership with AmaZulu Football Club will embark on a clean-up operation at Umlazi Mega City and at KwaMashu Shopping Centre in the townships of Umlazi and KwaMashu in Durban this weekend.
“AmaZulu FC President Sandile Zungu as well as the club’s Executive Director Sinenjabulo Zungu will be part of the initiative,” said Dube.
