A rejuvenated Orlando Pirates host Amazulu at Orlando Stadium this afternoon, aiming to
extend their excellent home record.

They are unbeaten in five league games, their best run of games this season.

It’s been 22 games and 18 months since Pirates were last defeated at home. The visitors aiming to stop that run this weekend is AmaZulu, who will have to do something they have done just once in 16 attempts.

1 – AmaZulu have beaten Orlando Pirates just once in the league in this away fixture since
1996, losing nine times and drawing the other five.

9 – Amazulu have lost nine away matches at Pirates. Only against Chiefs (11), Sundowns
(11) and Supersport (10) have AmaZulu lost on more occasions away from home.

Stellenbosch v Polokwane City

6 – Polokwane are on a six-game losing streak in away matches, their worst run of away
game losses in a single season since they lost 8 in a row in 2013/14.

1 – Polokwane City have lost just one of their last eleven matches against newly-promoted
sides since 2016/17 (Drew 5 Won 5), and that one loss was against Stellenbosch earlier this
season.

Baroka v Maritzburg

1 – Baroka have won just once against Maritzburg since they (Baroka) were promoted in 2016, drawing once and losing the other five games.

2 – Baroka will be looking for their 2nd home win on the bounce after beating Polokwane 1-0
recently. Only once in their PSL history have they won back-to-back home games.
