Golden Arrows have revealed the departure of two of their players.
The club confirmed that Edmore Sibanda and Danny Phiri have left.
“We bid farewell to Danny Phiri and Edmore Sibanda.
“We would like to take this time to thank both Danny and Edmore for their contributions and services to the club and wish them well in their future endeavors,” said the social media post.
The Zimbabwe duo made minimal contribution to the team in the past campaign under the departed coach Mandla Ncikazi.
Phiri, who’s 31, arrived at the club in 2016 and played 52 matches, scoring two goals for Abafana Bes’thende.
Meanwhile, Sibanda who is 37 years old made only 13 appearances for Arrows after arriving in 2019.
The club is expected to announce the arrival of Siyabonga Mbatha whose contract was not renewed at AmaZulu.
