Ghanaian international Andre Ayew will be released by Swansea City on a free transfer when his contract expires this month.
The 31-year-old forward found the back of the net on 35 occasions in 106 appearances, having joined the side as a record signing from West Ham for an initial £18m in January 2018.
Ayew was Swansea’s top earner – meant his exit was inevitable after the Welsh side missed out on promotion to the Premier League, as reported by BBC Sport.
The Black Stars skipper’s final appearance for Swansea came in last Saturday’s play-off final defeat to Brentford at Wembley.
Meanwhile, the club have also let go of Kieron Freeman, Declan John and Barrie McKay.
