Baberwa re-sign striker Lucky Khune

Gauteng ABC Motsepe league side Babewra have announced the signing of four new players.

The Royals signed former Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United striker Lucky Khune who re-joins the team as a free agent after leaving in 2018.

Baberwa also signed Moses Mokasi GladAfrica Championship side, Jomo Cosmos.

Mokasi scored a brace on his Baberwa debut against Mamelodi All Stars in a league game over the weekend.

Lunga Zikode from Free State Stars also put pen to paper along with Rophney Hlungwane from amateur side Emmanuel FC.

The Gauteng-based side didn’t only sign players but also released Thato Khiba and Tshepo Mosiathanga.

“We thank them for their services and wish them well in their future endeavours,” said Baberwa in a statement.

The Royals are currently second on the Gauteng ABC Motsepe league log standings with 29 points in 16 games.
