Baberwa welcome back Chabangu

Gauteng ABC Motsepe League side Baberwa FC have confirmed that former Moroka Swallows striker Lerato Chabangu will return to action after being cleared fit to play for the first time this season.

The 34-year-old was struggling to get his life together after some poor life decisions that saw him lose everything he worked for during his spells with the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Moroka Swallows.

Baberwa boss Joe Seanego has handed Lerato Chabangu a lifeline.

As things stands it looks like former Bafana Bafana goal-poacher has overcome his problems and ready to rewrite his career.

He’s in fact on the bench for Baberwa’s match against M. Tigers at Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa on Saturday afternoon.
