Bafana Bafana will take on Uganda in an international friendly next month.
On Friday afternoon, the South African Football Association CEO Tebogo Motlante announced that the men’s senior national team will face the Cranes of Uganda in an international friendly on the 10th of June.
This comes after the Confederation of African Football (Caf) had an agreement with Fifa to postpone the World Cup qualifiers to September owing to the instability that has been caused by the Covid19 pandemic.
The friendly will be used as a preparation match for the qualifiers against Ghana and Zimbabwe in September.
Newly appointed coach Hugo Broos will have an opportunity to select his first Bafana squad as he moves towards starting his tenure at the helm of the 1996 African champions.
