Bafana Bafana and SAFA president Danny Jordaan are in Chesterville, Durban at the unveiling of the tombstone of the late Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa.

Meyiwa passed on six years ago on 26 October 2014.

He was gunned down in Vosloorus and his killer (s) is yet to be brought to justice.

The other thing that was missing was a tombstone on Meyiwa’s grave and reports recently claimed that there was an anonymous donor who came through to assist with the finances to erect the tombstone.

Since Bafana Bafana are in Durban for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome, scheduled for Friday at Moses Mabhida Stadium, it was decided they would unveil the tombstone.

Recently, there were Orlando Pirates fans – his club at the time of death – who unveiled the tombstone.

In short, there’ve been two unveilings.
