After initially announcing that the international friendly between South Africa and neighbours Namibia will not be televised on national television, the South African Broadcast Corporation (SABC) on Wednesday night announced that there has been a change of broadcast plans.
The public broadcaster announced that the game will now be televised on its SABC 3 channel live on Thursday at 18:00 pm so all die-hard ‘Bafana Bafana’ fans can now catch the national team live.
Bafana will be in action for the first time since November 2019 when coach Molefi Ntseki’s man took on Sudan at home and walked out with a 1-0 victory.
After the arrival of overseas duo Percy Tau and Lyle Foster, the Bafana mentor has the full squad in camp and in terms of injuries all players seem to be in good shape except Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Lebogang Manyama who sat out Wednesday afternoon’s final training session before the 1996 champions host their neighbours at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
