Tottenham Hotspur bound duo Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilón have been booked to fly on the same private jet on Friday from Madrid to London, where they are set to put the finishing touches to their transfers from Real Madrid, The Guardian reports.
Bale will arrive on a one-year loan and will continue to earn his basic £600,000-a-week wage, making him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
Reguilón on the other hand will join for £27.6m on a long-term contract.
Both players have already completed their medicals in Madrid in line with Covid-19 guidance.
It will be a second spell for Bale whose first spell at Spurs was between 2007-2013.
During his seven seasons at Madrid, Bale won 13 major honours, including two La Liga titles, and Spurs will hope that he can bring his winning mentality to the dressing room.
In July 2019, Madrid cancelled a deal for Bale to join Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning, and he played 20 times for the Bernabeu club last season.
