Baroka have made a U-turn on the case involving them and former captain Mduduzi Mdantsane and have decided to drop the matter.
Baroka, City and Mdantsane were due to appear before the Premier Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber today after the Limpopo side lodged an urgent application over the signing of Mdantsane by the Citizens.
FARPost.co.za is reliably being told that the case did not sit in today and the 25-year-old is now free to play for his new team.
“Yes the club withdrew the matter after some deliberations so the case did not go ahead” said the informant.
News coming from Cape Town is that Mdantsane who was supposed to travel to Johannesburg for the case was stopped by his team last night upon receiving the conformation that Bakgaga have withdrew.
Baroka initially terminated the player’s contract 6 months prior to its expiry but made a strange U-turn claiming that they never released him after the player was unveiled by City.
