Baroka part ways with two players


FARPost can confirm that Baroka have parted ways with striker Jemondre Dickens and defender Cheslyn Jampies with immediate effect.

Both players still had two years left on their respective contracts.

This publication has been informed that the club took a decision to dismiss the pair after they returned for pre-season training, three days after the agreed date.

Jampies, 31, joined Bakgaga in 2020 from Uthongathi. He played 20 matches in all competitions. Dickens, 23, joined in 2018 and played 33 matches with four goals in all competitions.

Club spokesperson Richard Mashabane could not be reached for a comment.
