#FARPost has learnt that SuperSport United midfielder Teboho Mokoena was wanted by Belgian side Cercle Brugge.
But according to our sources, a deal has failed to materialise and the SA U23 international will stay put at the Tshwane based side, at least until the end of the 2019/2020 season.
The 22-year-old has shown great progress over the past few seasons.
He was the PSL Young Player of the Season in the 2018/19 campaign.
Cercle Brugge are also home to another SA U23 international Lyle Foster, who’s on loan from French Ligue 1 side, Monaco.
Based in Brugge is also Percy Tau, who plays for Club Brugge.
Mokoena has also been previously linked with French Ligue 1 outfit RC Strasbourg, where Bafana Bafana international Lebo Mothiba is based.
But nothing also materialised with Strasbourg.
Given his qualities, it’s only a matter of time before Mokoena makes an overseas move.
