Benni leads race for AmaZulu job

#FARPost can confirm that Benni McCarthy is the frontrunner to take over as head coach of AmaZulu.

Ayanda Dlamini has stepped down, while his assistant Allan Freese has taken over as interim head coach.

The former Cape Town City coach has been without a job since leaving the Citizens in November 2019.

McCarthy, the all-time Bafana Bafana top scorer with 31 goals, has been based in Scotland, where his family resides, but would relish the opportunity to return to management.
