The commencement of both Nedbank Cup Preliminary games and ABC Motsepe League in Limpopo province have been delayed due to a pending arbitration case between Berachah Valley and Safa Limpopo.
The case reached arbitration after Berachah appealed a disciplinary hearing case which they lost against Magesi FC of a game that was abandoned midway, as reported by Sonics Digitals late last month.
The matter went to the arbitration for the first time on the 2nd of September, where it was pushed further to next month.
As things stand, the judgement on the case is expected to be handed down today, 1 October.
Berachah finished last season at the bottom of the Provincial ABC Motsepe LeaguStream B with 14 points, just two points behind Terrors.
If it happens that the arbitration’s outcomes favours the Mafefe-based outfit, the side will leapfrog Terrors FC and Callies in the 2020/2021 Limpopo ABC Motsepe League Stream B log standings to the seventh place, with Terrors facing the chop to the Safa Waterberg Regional League.
Meanwhile, the league fixtures are set to be revealed a day after the judgment of a pending case, whereas the Nedbank Cup Preliminary fixtures are expected to start on the 9th of October.
