Bhengu back with Swallows

GladAfrica Championship side Swallows FC have brought back striker Phumelele ‘Ace’ Bhengu to the club.

Swallows have also acquired the services of Bidvest Wits Zimbabwean left-back Farai Madhanaga on loan.

The 30-year-old striker played for the Dube Birds from 2008 to 2011, with his recent club being Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila (TTM). Bhengu also featured for SuperSport United and Thanda Royal Zulu.

Swallows chairperson David Mogashoa confirmed the new developments that happened just before the transfer deadline.

“It was Ace Bhengu, Bafana Kali from Richards Bay and Farrai from Wits. Ja, we confirm those we signed them ja. Then obviously there’s a Chiefs boy Sizwe Twala (who’s on loan).”

GladAfrica Championship title chasing Uthongathi FC officially confirmed the signing of former Golden Arrows fullback Siyanda Zwane.
