Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat will miss Zimbabwe’s World Cup qualifier clash against Ghana on 9 October due to suspension.

The 31-year-old forward accumulated two yellow cards during their matches against South Africa and Ethiopia respectively.

The Warriors will be looking to do well in the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers under the new leadership of Norman Mapeza, who replaced the Croatian tactician Zdravko Logarusic following a string of poor results.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) request to have supporters at the National Sports Stadium during the Warriors’ Fifa World Cup 2022 qualifier with the Black Stars on 12 October was rejected by Caf.

“Caf said our stadium needs to be upgraded to meet required medical, safety and security standards,” read ZIFA’s statement.
