Tim Sukazi’s bid to acquire Bloemfontein Celtic appears set to be successful.
FARPost sources have confirmed that Sukazi, who owns GladAfrica Championship side TS Galaxy, is on the “same page” with Celtic in terms of negotiations as he looks to bag Siwelele’s Premier Soccer League status.
Owing to financial difficulties, Celtic have been up for the taking for sometime now. Celtic fans – arguably the most passionate group – would be livid if the sale was to go through, but their biggest fear of losing the club could become a reality especially since Sukazi is confident.
Speaking to Ikwekwezi FM, Sukazi expects the deal to be finalised next month.
“I have been speaking to Celtic for quite a while now. As a matter of fact, we spoke in January, but sadly we didn’t have time,” Sukazi told the Mpumalanga-based radio station.
“But we have since moved further. At the end of this month, we’ll be dealing with the financial closure and by June, I’ll announce to the people of KwaNdebele that we’ll have a team in the PSL,” he added.
