Black Leopards will have to begin a search for a new coach following Luc Eymael’s resignation.
Eymael handed his resignation letter on Friday afternoon with immediate effect after just 3 months in charge at Lidoda Duvha.
It was obvious the relations between Eymael and some of his players were sour after a public spat with midfielder Lefa Hlongwane.
It is also alleged that the coach was unhappy because the team didn’t want to sign more players given the fact that they made ‘big signings’ during the June transfer window period.
When contacted for a comment Eymael referred FARPost.co.za to his agent Mike Makaab and the team manager Elijah Mulaudzi.
“You know what you must call Elijah and you call my agent Mike Makaab because me I don’t want to make any statement. It is something that already a statement has come out but I don’t know why because everyone has been calling me but me, I don’t want to comment hey. Okay Thank you,” said Eymael, before hanging up the phone.
The Belgian was only in charge for 9 games winning 3, losing 4 and drawing 2.
