AmaZulu have confirmed the appointment of former Bafana Bafana striker Benni McCarthy as their new head coach.
McCarthy replaces Ayanda Dlamini, who stepped down recently.
The 43-year-old McCarthy was last at Cape Town City and parted ways with the club in late 2019.
This will be his second coaching stint and again, a lot would be expected from him, considering Usuthu have new owners that have brought in some good players such as Xola Mlambo, Luvuyo Memela, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Veli Mothwa.
