Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of Ntsako Makhubela from Golden Arrows.
The 27-year-old was one of Arrows’ standout performers last season with three goals and two assists in 23 DStv Premiership matches, catching the eye of the Soweto giants.
He returns to Soweto after playing for the Pirates reserve side back in 2017. Makhubela also had a stint at Real Kings in the second-tier league.
Arrows also annouced the departure of the highly-rated winger.
“We bid farewell to Ntsako Makhubela who will be leaving us to join Orlando Pirates. We thank you for your services over the past couple of seasons Delafuka and wish you well at The Buccaneers,” the club said in a statement on Friday.
Pirates start their DStv Premiership campaign against Stellenbosch at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday and will be eager to bounce back from their MTN8 quarterfinal defeat at the hands of Soweto rivals Swallows last weekend.
