SA’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) season is officially suspended until further notice.
The Board of Governers held a meeting today in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, where it was resolved to suspended the Absa Premiership and GladAfrica Championship until further notice.
“We will complete the season by no later than June 30, but we shall remain flexible,” said PSL chairman, Irvin Khoza.
This comes after SA president Cryil Ramaphosa announced that gatherings of more than 100 people are prohibited owing to the outbreak of the Coronavirus around the world.
As a result, events such as football matches are not possible.
