Former Black Leopards coach Luc Eymael has been appointed as Stade Tunisien (Tunisien club) head coach; the club confirmed on Thursday.
The length of Eymael’s deal with Stade is yet to be disclosed.
The 62-year-old Belgian technician was sacked by Tanzanian club Young Africans last year for making racist comments. He later joined Chippa United as a technical adviser but was shown the door a few weeks after his appointment.
“Eymael′ has been appointed as the new coach of the Tunisian,” said the club in a statement.
“The most prominent experiences of Belgian technician were with the Congolese ′′ Vita Club, Free State Stars of South Africa, Kairouan, Mars, Sudanese Mars, Egyptian Army, Moldia Oran Algerian and the latest was with the Tanzanian Yanga.”
Eymael remains a hugely controversial figure in football.
