Bucs, Amakhosi’s celebrity supporters


The nation will be divided this afternoon when Orlando Pirates take on Kaizer Chiefs in the quarterfinals of the Telkom Knockout at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The stadium will be painted black and white in the colours of the Buccaneers, as well as the gold and black of the Phefeni Glamour Boys.

Both sets of fans take pride in getting more people in their corner to expand the support base.

The Bucs corner would have been very pleased to discover sometime back that Economic Freedom Fighters’ commander-in-chief, Julius Malema, is one of them.

Equally, the Amakhosi faithful have come to know that the likes of DJ Tira, in the main picture, proclaim: “Khosi 4 Life”.

Chiefs also boast in their ranks the likes of actress, Pearl Thusi and politician, Bantu Holomisa.
