Burkina Faso and Guinea qualified for the Total Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) slated for Cameroon next year.
The Burkinabe played to a 1-all draw with Uganda to cruise their way to the 2021 Afcon edition on Wednesday.
Kamou Malo’s side qualified for this prestigious tournament for the sixth time in their last seven attempts.
Meanwhile, Guinea secured their Afcon spot after defeating Mali 1-0 in Group A, thanks to Seydouba Soumah’s goal.
Burkina Faso and Guinea join defending champions Algeria, Mali, Senegal, Tunisia and automatic qualifiers as hosts Cameroon in securing places, leaving 17 places up for grabs.
