CAF EXCO to meet in Rabat


The Confederations of African Football (CAF) executive committee will meet in Rabat, Morocco today, 16 July on the eve of the CAF Champions League final between Kaizer Chiefs and Al Ahly.

Amongst other things to be discussed is the PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC Final Report”).

Meanwhile, CAF is investigating the incident that took place during the CAF Confederation Cup final fixture between Raja Club Athletic and JS Kabylie in Cotonou, Benin on Saturday.

A section of fans invaded the field following the final whistle affecting the events leading to the medal and trophy presentation.

CAF strongly condemned the incident and have opened a disciplinary investigation in order to determine the root cause and people responsible and apply possible sanctions.
