The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have revealed the new dates for the Champions League semi-final and the final.
The Champions League final was set to take place next Friday, November 6th in Cairo.
However, at the request of Egyptian authorities, it was announced on Thursday night that the game would be postponed.
This meant that the only remaining semi-final encounter between Zamalek and Raja Casablanca would be moved, for the second time. The date of both encounters was unknown for a while until CAF released the updated schedule.
Zamalek will host Raja at the Cairo International Stadium next Wednesday, November 4th. The Whites came out on top 1-0 in the first-leg and will hope to qualify for what could be a historic final against their arch-rivals, Al Ahly.
Meanwhile, the final will be held on November 27th at the Egyptian Army Stadium in Borg El-Arab, Alexandria. Both matches will kick-off at 7:00 pm UTC.
The final will therefore interfere with the start of the new season of the Interclubs competitions. The first leg of the preliminary rounds is supposed to take place on November 20th, with the second leg set to be played on the same week as the reported date for the final.
