Cameroonian striker Njoya Ajara Nchout has joined Spanish giants Atletico de Madrid from Norwegian champions Valerenga.
Ajara joins Atletico on a deal that runs till 30 June 2022.
She becomes the second African to sign for the Madrid-based side in four days after Nigerian Rasheedat Ajibade.
“A new adventure is opening up for me, for us, with Atletico Madrid. It is a huge privilege to be part of this great project, I am very happy to be here and to represent Cameroon. It is a dream that comes true in the end,” Ajara wrote on her official Twitter account.
“I would like all the Rojiblancos to know that I am proud to wear their colours. I am a very competitve player who believes in victory until the last minute. Cameroonians never hesistate, we never give up. I will put these values at the service of Atletico de Madrid. I will do my best to make them proud of me and the team.”
