ABC Motsepe club axe their coach

Babewra FC have confirmed that they have parted ways with their head coach Thulani Ntshingila, assistant coach Jeff Maluri and technical director Eugene Mazini.
The Gauteng ABC Motsepe League side announced the technical team’s sacking on their official Twitter account.
“Following a string of poor results Baberwa Football Club has decided to part ways with immediate effect with Head Coach Thulani Ntshingila, Assistant Coach Jeff Maluri and Technical Director Eugene Manzini,” read Baberwa’s statement.
The club appointed their goalkeeper coach Errol Chuene as the caretaker coach and he will be assisted by Size Masina.

Babewra are currently on position 3 in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League with 14 points in 8 games , with the log leaders Orange Vaal Professionals FC seating on 19 points in 8 games.

ABC Motsepe League countrywide Update

The SAFA Provincial ABC Motsepe League is in full swing in eight Provinces with the exception of the Western Cape Province.

Here is an update from each province…

Gauteng

Last season runners-up Baberwa FC continued from where they left off last season. They top the league with 12 points from 4 games followed by Orange Vaal Professionals on 9 points and Alexandra Black Aces third with 7 points.

Limpopo

Newly formed Giyani Happy Boys and Venda Football Academy currently occupy the first and second spots with 9 and 7 points respectively. Ambitious side Ditlou FC and Polokwane United are also tied on 7 points. Last season winners Mikhado are yet to win a match and sit at position 12.

Eastern Cape

Amavarara FC who finished 8th last season currently lead the log with 9 points, tied with Matta Milan and Peace Makers FC but with a superior goal difference. Lat season champions Tornado FC are languishing at 9th position.

North West

Polokwane City Rovers are the only side with a 100% record in five matches. Buya Msuthu who missed out on a promotion spot by three points are currently second with 13 points followed by Orbit College with 11 points from 5 matches.

Northern Cape

Kakamas Sundowns lead the Provincial log after three out of three wins, followed by Tornado FC on seven points. Last season winners Hungry Lions FC sit at third position after collecting just 5 points out of a possible 9.

Mpumalanga

FC Sivutsa NPC are front runners with 9 points from 4 games followed by Bakone FC with 7 points, tied with Nkomazi Real Aces, Secunda M Stars FC, Barberton City Stars FC and Mlambo Royal Cubs FC.

KwaZulu Natal

Mvoti United FC currently lead the provincial Log with 9 points from 3 games followed by Natal Rich Boys FC on 7 points and last season champions Summerfield Dynms on third position with 6 points.

Free State

Last season’s runners up Bloemfontein Young Tigers have a 100% record start to the season alongside Central University of Free State. Last season champions Mangaung Unite are 5th with 6 points from 3 games.
