Celtic coach Seema: Our target is still to go over that lucky number, 30 [points]

Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has reiterated that their target this season is to reach 30 points in the Absa Premiership.

Following their 2-0 defeat to Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium on Saturday, Seema said that they will fight until the end of the season to ensure they reach their goal. “We can’t faulter the guys efforts, we have to soldier on.

“We will win some and we will lose some. We just have to pick up ourselves, our target is still to go over that lucky number, that 30 [points] that is alluding us, but we are never giving us, we will keep on fighting, “added the Celtic coach.

Celtic are likely to reach their target of 30 points as they are currently on 25 points, in 10th place on the log after 20 games, with 10 games remaining in the league.

Seema and his men will next travel to Pretoria on Wednesday to face Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, kickoff at 19:00.

“At least our depth has been tested, definitely on Wednesday we will have some fresh legs, we will regroup again and go to Mamelodi Sundowns and as you can see in this league anyone can beat anyone, “said Seema.
