Bloemfontein Celtic have announced the contract extension of goalkeeper, Sipho Chaine.
Chaine will be part of the club until June 2024.
The 24-year-old was promoted from the Celtic’s reserve side to the senior side in 2016 after his impressive displays in the Diski Challenge for ‘Siwelele’.
He formed part of the Celtic side that clinched the Diski Challenge in 2019 and went to the United Kingdom (UK) with the team.
The goalkeeper was one of the top performers in matches against the reserves of English Premiership sides West Ham United and Fulham.
He made 15 appearances in all competitions last campaign with three clean sheets to his name for Celtic.
Chaine once revealed that his goal is to make the No1 jersey at Phunya Sele Sele his own as it was always his dream t play for the club.
