Bloemfontein Celtic stunned Absa Premiership log leaders Kaizer Chiefs with a 3-1 win at Tuks Stadium on Wednesday night.
‘Amakhosi’ were the favourites coming into the match but the defeat ruined their chances of increasing their lead at the top of the table to nine points.
Chiefs defender Eric Mathoho opened the scoring in the 35th minute.
But the night belonged to Lesotho International Motebang Sera who scored in each half to give ‘Siwelele’ a 2-1 lead before Victor Letsoalo grabbed the third with 15 minutes remaining.
Chiefs still have a six-point lead over Mamelodi Sundowns with five matches remaining, but with the ‘Brazilians’ having a game in hand.
